The Pavillion

Fantastic news for Lossiemouth!

The new Community Pavilion in Marine Park, Stotfield Road is well underway.

Permissions have all been granted and funding secured from Moray Leader, Sport Scotland, Landfill fund and The Robertson Trust as well as the funds raised through our community events. Tullochs of Cummingston are now constructing the Pavilion.

A huge THANK YOU to all who have supported this project, attended fundraising events and family fun days.
We will be welcoming everyone to enjoy the new Marine Park Pavilion in June this year, when we open the doors at the Marine Park Family Fun Day on Saturday 20th June – A date for your Diary!

As well as much needed storage space for sporting equipment on the ground level, there will be accessible toilets and a water refill station.
This area will serve all current user groups well and allow new activities to grow and flourish in Marine Park.
The upper level will have a low inclination ramp entry and is an ideal space for sharing time together over a refreshment, for club use, for meetings, for fundraising events and many other activities.
There will be a programme of events for this summer circulated through the annual AMP leaflet which we hope will delight many regular Marine Park faces as well as many new visitors to the park. Action Marine Park the group welcome enquiries from all in the local community regarding potential bookings and ideas for this space.

Meanwhile we continue to fundraise for some essential equipment for inside the Pavilion, to ensure that its use extends to include all in our local community.
